ENFP and proud of it.

I wonder if personality has anything to do with my lack of writing in this blog for so long. Perhaps in the day and age of twitter and Facebook microblogging, there isn't much use for longer rants... 

Maybe it's my imagined audience that might take issue with what I write that is keeping from committing my thoughts to blogger. "Tl;dr," one comment might say. "I read email all day, why should I pull up this website to then read your blog?" might think another. 

Well, I'm going to post this anyway, and wait for the slinging of mud before I decide that what I have to say, people just don't have appetite for. 

Time for my conflict avoidant, shy, perfectionist self to just hit "done" and "publish" this sucker. 

Welcome to the new blog

I've been thinking about doing this for some time, however, the P part of my ENFP personality has kept me from pulling the trigger. It's almost more fun to turn over an idea in your head again and again rather than put up a post that could potentially be less than perfect.

Anyway, the purpose of this blog is to bring my thoughts past the 140 character limit of Twitter. I don't know who out there is reading, but I hope this is the beginning of a long journey.

My mission is share musings and to highlight certain Health IT topics that interest me and others who serve the healthcare "safety net."
